Thai massage is ... Love,
Compassion, Healing and an Expression of Oneness.
Originating from the time of the Buddha, it is an
extraordinary method of balancing the mind, body and soul
and is the fruit of care of people striving to alleviate
suffering and make others truly comfortable and well.
This ancient therapy is based on stimulating the flow of
vital energy along the 10 main energy lines in the body. By
applying gentle rhythmic pressure to various acupressure
points and through applied yoga the flow of vital energy is
restored to body organs therefore preventing illness and
alleviating pain.
The massage is practiced in a meditative state allowing the
practitioner to work intuitively and the receiver to
experience clarity and this in turn facilitates
self-healing.
Thai Yoga massage is generally practiced on a futon on the
floor and over light clothing.
