Shiatsu (Japanese from shi, meaning finger, and atsu, meaning pressure) - is a hands-on therapy technique originating in Japan. Various styles incorporate (to differing degrees) aspects of Japanese massage traditions, Chinese Medicine practice, and "western" anatomy & physiology. Shiatsu is about supporting each other in harmonising mind, body and spirit in our lives journey. The treatment is carried out on a futon on the floor over light clothing. A session may last between 40 minutes to an hour and 30 minutes.
